"New Year Musings"

Wow....hard to believe another year has zoomed by (and that is the only way to describe 2010). And for many, no looking in the rearview mirror! 2010 was a year that challenged us, but opened the door for us to see what we are made of...and we are a tough lot, aren't we?

There is not much we cannot accomplish if we set our minds to it. Many of us (our household was not immune) have been plagued by unemployment and related issues. But that is when you must force yourself to think outside the box and find that seed of hope and sow it! Get out there and pursue your God-given talents and discover who you really are!

I think what they are doing at The Treasure Box dot ORG is fantastic...and it is a sad testament of the times that after we have been online for about 11 years, there is suddenly confusion in our names and I am getting an abundance of calls and sign ups on our email list from people who have mistaken us for the people at The Treasure Box dot ORG. Please do not call my 800 number, but check out their website instead at thetreasurebox.org if you are looking for a high value food box program. Now, on the other hand, if you are seeking gifts of inspiration and encouragement, you are at the right place and by all means call...

I have to admit...this is a tough one to write, but I have had so many calls and it is taxing on my own resources to have to pay for calls which are not for my company and some people have requested operator assistance to get them to the right place - after they called my number. I am one person...running three home-based businesses and although I do not mind being helpful when I can, please understand, I pay for these calls that come in, and it is time taken away from my running my business.

I truly understand times are tough. Believe me.
